here begins my epic pile of fotos from the museo national de antropologia
many more to add when i get a chance..  looks like they may not be in any particular order, so


most of this set is from 'culturas del norte', baja, chihuahua, sonora, some from areas that used to be mexico but now belong to a different country..
















a replica of a tumba de tiro-'shaft tomb' for important types to be buried with a bunch of amazing little figurines, their families, servants, dogs..apparently these are where they found a bunch of this type stuff thats in the picturs








Pakal, a king who was buried with a lifelike jade mask at Palenque and became the god of maize
